Bug: secret door in Latverk's home not working

Without spoiling too much, has anyone else been in ]Latverk's home in Middle City ? My party spots a secret door there and I can briefly see a "Door" tag show, but then it vanishes and there isn't any outline or area to interact with.

Frustrating bug since I'm sure I need to go in there...

It's story related - like the one in Horgus Gwerms manor. Just progress further in that particular quest.

So, no frustrating bug here to see - move along.

Yup story related. You don't need to spot it. It opens on its own when the story calls for it.

As an aside, the twist on that quest was a little too obvious, but the Trickster resolution to it was incredible.

So I had the same thing happen, 'spotted' the secret door the first time I was in there but couldn't find the actual door. Later in the questline, I spot the door again and open it. There is a chest in there but I can't get to it. I can't see the chest but it highlights and shows up on the map.

I can confirm this bug. The quest has been completed (Trickster Resolution). Spotted the door during the fight. Post fight , I open the door, and can see the chest, but the area is completely black/bugged out, in that, my character is unable to enter the room to access the chest.

Yep, I'm on the Angel path and found the hidden door as soon as I went into the basement. After defeating Latverk I opened the door and it's just darkness and I can't go past the doorway.

Anyone know if anything good is in there that I am missing?

Hi.
I had the same problem. It's not that I have to go further in the story, the quest is totally completed. I defeated Latverk in his... sordid basement. I found the secret door with perception, opened it and there is nothing except darkness... I can't enter in the secret room behind that door. It's totaly buged (like a lot of things in this act).

I saved and restart the game. The secret room still was dark but when I tried to come in, I finally could see everything and loot the chest.

(version 1.2.0af of the game)

Im VERY late to the convo, but had the same bug so for those, like me, who had this problem...

The way I fixed it is by using Dimension Door in the actual room.

It works, lights the room and you can easily loot the chest which contains "Gloves of Enduring Wizard"

To get out though, you gotta use another Dimension Portal.
