Rapid shot work with throwing axes?

some people say it does while others say it doesnt, just wanted to confirm if it does.

It should. Rapid shot is for "ranged weapons". Throwing weapons are ranged.

Rapid Shot does. Just finished a run with a throwing axes ranger and it definitely does. I don't think Manyshot does, though, because that one specifically states that it only works with bows.

Rapid shot does, Manyshot does not. But you only get the bonus attack with the main hand.

Its easy enough to check. Just save first and you'll see the extra attack on your sheet when you take the feat.

I think it should if you have the discovery thing that lets you throw as many bombs as you have attacks. But been awhile since I tried that in Kingmaker.

Arcane Bomber does not have access to discoveries. Its a Wizard archetype that gets alchemist bombs. They are still considered throwing weapons according to the throw anything feat, so bombs are still a weapon.

ok right, rapid shot is any ranged weapon, and manyshot only bows. which makes rapid shot for non-bows a less attractive feat investment. on a plus side, you can dual-wield axes, but you don't get rapid shot for the off-hand one.

But you get dual wield/iproved/greater which is more attacks than Manyshot

It does. Anything that states "ranged weapon" works with throwing axes, as compared to multishot that specifically says "any bow"

I ended up skipping rapid shot on Wendaug's throwing axe build because a single extra attack didn't feel worth the hit penalty on the rest of them. Plus I like her having one attack for each spider arm.

You can disable the penalty with the mythic rapid shot feat
