Is there level scaling in this game?
Does enemies scale with your level? (Personally hope not) Been trying to look for an answer but couldn't. Anyone care to enlighten?

Also as a follow up question.

1. Are the loots in the game from chests and corpses fixed or random? :)
2. Are enemies predetermined and fixed? Or do they respawn and can be farmed for XP? :)

I'm pretty sure they don't. At least I don't remember them doing so in Kingmaker.

1- Loot is fixed (aside from maybe minor drops from enemies like gold and the odd gem/material)
2- Enemies are fixed but, if travel functions like Kingmaker, then there are random encounters in the map but farming those for exp takes forever.

Does the game scale with level? Well... Kind of. The system of needing to win battles with your armies and areas not opening up until you have completed that kind of keeps you within the basic level range. That said, I have played two different paths and one path got me teleported to a dungeon before I was ready and I got to enjoy a couple "Open the wrong door at the wrong time and get SMOKED" experiences. On the other path, I cleaned out a bunch of the one-shot areas and was well-prepared enough to basically walk the area.

That said, it's definitely not like Dragon Age: Inquisition where you stumble on the wrong fight in a low-level area and have to run for it on the regular.

If you clear the small areas for experience before moving on to areas that forward the main quest, you shouldn't have an issue. Also, Cleric + Angel path = God Mode.

Ya level scaling isn’t so much a thing as the enemy’s are pretty even with what you can handle mixed in with some oh ♥♥♥♥ moments that need tactics.

Yes random encounters exists and you could farm them I guess but you have plenty of exp to make it to level 20 by act 5 they wanted people to enjoy capstone ability’s this time.

No enemy lv scaling, if you play with non shared XP you can over level the content (but need to handle the encounters with less than 6 ofc...) Some area is linked to game/story timing, meaning you can "clean" them more than once, for example Market place in the 1st chapter will have new daemons after some days even if you cleaned it in the 2nd day once. It is a good source of XP for higher difficulty where all level advantage is critical...
