Sosiel - romance SPOILERS
I have a question for those who have finished the game and romanced Sosiel.

Spoiler alert.

At the beginning of Act 5, after recapturing the fortress and choosing what to do with her mythic power, Sosiel breaks up with me, calling me a monster.
The problem with this is that I chose the path of the Angel from the beginning and that hasn't changed. Early on, it didn't bother him. And I am still Lawful Good.

So the question is, is this a normal reaction from Sosiel and we'll get along later, or is this one of those nasty bugs in Act 5?

I have the same problem. I turned (chaotic good) from trickster to true legend and he calls me a monster.

why do you say that? He is gentle, kind, compassionate and handsome. If this is a bug, i think they will fix it.

Someone had this issue the other day on here under similar circumstances, so it does indeed seem to be a bug. Apparently if you pick the evil option to grab him by the throat he stays around though.

His quest is completely broken, what kind of patronising ♥♥♥♥ comes to a battlefield just to preach peace, i understand for Ember since shes a cursed, broken child but hes a grown man, im going to be as evil as possible to him, its because of people like him that the crusade has failed for 100 years.

Well, perhabs he isn't a good crusader, but what has that to do with love and romancing him? I pick my boyfriends not because they are heros or perfect logic entities, but touching my heart and my soul, making me shiver and full of desire. If I would let lead him an army is another and clompletly different decision. :)

Sure... if your life wasnt in the hands of those around you, an army is only as strong as its weakest links.

This bug was supposedly fixed in the latest patch. I'll have to check it out.

yes, pls do, as im not the only one having this issue. I'm just surprised how few people enter into a romance with Sosiel, after all, he is well written and almost a dream man!

Sosiel has/had some glitches in his triggers I think, something bugged out during his quest and I had to download toybox to fix it

There was also bug relatet to him i encounterd: I was not able to complete borrowed dreams because Sosiel painted the Spymaster and I couldn't address her. Sosiel always answered, even if her portrait was on the sidelines.

The patch worked! Sosiel didn't break up with me, and even applauded my choice while still standing before the goddess.

Additionally, the problem with the animation getting stuck on painting has also been supposedly fixed, but I can't check it now. I handled it differently by detaching Sosiel from the team for a moment.

And I agree with you Aldon. Sosiel was my first choice for romance and I don't regret it. :D
