This doesn't affect your alignment too badly (or at all if I remember right), and doesnt lock you into anything evil.
If you haven't tried yet, put the game in turn based mode for boss fights.
Try picking angel path and see if that makes Lann not useless?
I honestly didn't have any problems with the flyers. Seelah just melee'd them for me.
It is getting him to move, but it kind of sucks that this is the only way to do this?
Level 3 is possible if you turn on, "XP sharing for active companions only." If you're playing on unfair, you have to use every dirty trick in the book, because the game sure isn't playing fair.
Hostila is slow. When I did it on Unfair, I had everyone run to the top of the stairs except for Seelah (if it helps take off her armor so she moves quicker) who gibbed Wendaug. Hostila started following up the stairs and I had everyone attack her ranged while leading her through the circle.
Now here's the key, when she's close to summoning the quasits, you've got to make sure your party is at the top of the stairs. When the quasits come, hit them hard and take them out as fast you can, they're more dangerous than Hostila. Then repeat the circle strategy until she dies. It can take a while because you'll probably need 20s to hit.
One issue I am having with your strategy is that the game is spawning Wendaug downstairs and she is the only person who can actually hit them aside from Lan, but he is uterly useless since I cant control his position.
I chose to go with Wendaug instead of Lan earlier. I am trying to intercept the quasits but I can only intercept one before the other one kills Lan. I can get Wendaug out of the agro distance, but I would need someone to intercept the agro because these guys have like 50 speed.
Ah, I went with Lann so that helped. It also didn't hurt that my Monk Sorc had a mid 30s AC and could tank the Quasits.
