Can't find Sword of Valor in Iz

Found the temporary camp with the alter, but I've been nearly everywhere and cannot find the banner. :(

The first banner is just a trap. The second one is close to the end of the level

if you chose to save the queen, the banner is gone forever as far as I know. there's no quest to retrieve it. And the only thing left after Iz is the final battle.

I missed the trap completely. Is that normal?

I missed it at the beginning, too. I just follewed the corridor the first time, went to the

round room with all the corpses
found the banner and then checked the map again before leaving it.
Then i saw, that there were still black areas on the map and i decided to check them out before leaving. And was suprised.

i think, i died 5 times before being able to defeat the enemies in the trap.
I liked it a lot. ^^

I think you misunderstood him, that's the Gray Garrison, he's talking about Iz. lol

Iz? The grey garrison? No, the sword of valor - banner is in Drezen fort.

I didn't save the queen. I have scoured pretty much the whole place and am moving on, doing so fails that specific quest. :(

Iz is chapter 5, so yeah this is further than you are.

when you enter Iz for the first time, you go left from the first intersection to save the banner, or go straight north to save the queen. You can only do one or the other. Which did you do?

I went straight for the Queen, I didn't notice any indication that I only had one option, and it kept the quest log unchecked, with no cutscene to dictate that the banner was gone.

No, no I did gray garrison ages ago. There's a room with a pit of corpses in dresnen. But I haven't been to iz.

I just managed to save both the Queen and the Banner in Iz. As far as I can tell, the key is Hulrun of all people. As long as he is still alive and with the crusade at the end of chapter three, you can do it.

Enter Iz and go straight forward towards the Queen. You will come to a sunken roadway about 3/4 of the way across the map where you can encounter Hulrun and some crusaders. In the dialogue that follows, tell them to go back and defend the banner.

Push forward into the stone library and save the Queen. Note that it's important to go straight to her as soon as you see her, otherwise she will be killed. After saving the queen and getting the quest notification you can then go to the camp and the banner will be there.

I even explored most of the map because I couldn't find the banner at first.
