Character permanently slowed - how to get rid of this effect

My (main) character gains, every once in a while, the effect "Slowed" (permanent debuff, makes you walk slowly). I am in Act 4 and I wonder how to get rid of this annoying effect. If I ask the hand of the Inheritor to heal me, this effect is removed but it seems to appear again after a while (might be due to combat effects but I am not sure).

Remove the whip item.

If that's not the problem, file a bug report. :)

Do You use the Whip Item that gives Your Summonings 1 Extra Attack per Round? ^^ That Item gives permanent Slow ^^
