I purchased the armies for 7.5k gold, they and the Hellknights are all dead and I killed all the 2-3 level armies.
What i did at the start of the campaign skip days and buy new troops until i have over 200+ of each.
Your starting forces suck and you going to need more.
You dont need to start over.
But it would cut down on the frustration.
Losing your army at that point is really bad tho - like if you took fights where you lose like half your army you should really just reload and either try to play it different or just save the fight for later.
Its really not that hard overall but if you start losing too much youll keep losing.
Well, morale hit zero while I was managing to clear the Lost Temple and now I am stuck. One fort before Drezen and I have 1 army left with 10 archers and 4 Hellknights... so there is a soft timer, the morale bar. Once it hits zero the armies do not replenish for recruitment and no supply points are generated...
Yeah, I pretty much lost half my armies before I could take the first fort. There needs to be a better tutorial for that whole mode that helps you understand what it does. I will probably just turn on the auto crusade mode to see if I can progress.
Here are a few ways:
1. Reload to your previous save, and get more army before you strike back.
2. Turn on the auto crusade mode. But you lose some content.
3. Go to Dresden and deal with the army later. They are still there in act 3.
4. Cheat some money and exchange a lot of resources. Then you can build a huge army quickly.
