Storm's Peak quest honestly...

Has anyone done it, i cant find anything online and nobody here seems to have any information other than vague hints

It auto fails when you enter chapter 4 and reading about it, apaprently some guy somewhere is sending armies at you from a citadel, i have taken out every fort in the area, cleared out every army except lvl 10 armies, i dont have the quest in my journal and its not being ticked off despite everything i killed, but moment i enter chapter 4, it instantly fails, jesus, can someone explain how to fix this?

Mine didn't auto-fail when I entered act 4. I didn't complete it by then, but I was able to come back in Act 5 and complete it. It was simply to kill certain armies. I finished it accidentally while cleaning up. I don't remember which you need to take care of, but I believe it was the southern regions near the Winged Woods.

It's a timer, you would have to wait long enough in act 3 for that army to be sent in he first place. No idea just how long is that. Ignore it.

Yeah - just to reiterate, all that happens is a pretty low ranked enemy army spawns and moves toward Drezen - it is pretty badly worded tbh.

The solution is to get military rank maxed out, this will trigger an event that spawns the army, it wont auto spawn or anything, waiting does nothing if you havent passed the highest military reform event in the council thing first, thats the condition to trigger the event
