Chorussina or Blightmaw?

In Drezen : I noticed if I let the ritual completes - Blightmaw appears. But if I prevent the cultists from completing the ritual - I need to fight Chorussina.
Are there advantages in encountering one over the others?

Well...Blightmaw does like 180 melee damage per round, has SR 35 and AC 41 with several hundred hitpoints. Chorussina has AC 42 and is a minmaxed alchemist-something. You can choose who of them gets you first.

You get the loot from both if you let Blightmaw spawn (and manage to take him down), yes? Chorussina will die in the ritual if you let it complete so she's not a threat that way.

i did blightmaw fight , and got ring of chaotic fascination only from him , and lucky dice and agile dagger from chorussina, both a bit of a let down imo

The real reason to do Blightmaw is he gives you a little over 10,000 xp despite being easier than Chorizossina.
