It's kind of a holdover from how Paizo designs the tabletop Adventure Paths like the original Wrath of the Righteous - they would spice up the treasure piles by having things like works of art, gems, sets of silverware and all this other stuff rather than just "X gold pieces" or just an abstract "Xgp worth of assorted goods".
The ones to keep are at least one good bottle of alcohol for a companion quest later, and about 100 pieces of (stackable) trash like wooden plates or maps of Avistan for the Azata path.
