Question about Wendaug and Good Playthrough
Hey,

Stuck deciding between Lann and Wendaug. I'm curious. If I pick Wendaug but do a good playthrough, is it possible to keep her/ redeem her and not corrupt the Mongrels or to keep her, I'll have to corrupt them?

do yourself a favour and choose lann, hes a way better leader and character than she is, he also shreds at later levels

I don't doubt it, and he's the obvious choice for good playthrough, but just want to see if it's possible with Wendaug.I'd normally play multiple times...but meh I can't imagine going her route since I play goodie goodies. So just need some spoilers to see if its worth it for me

If you get lann first you can still get wenduag later as well

If you like being good wenduag is not the play. I have no clue if she is "redeemable" but for most of the game she is as evil as evil can get. Out of all the evil characters she is the most 1 dimensional power crazy psychopath of em all and shes honestly not written all that well compared to the other evil characters.

She mostly has 1 liners about the weak being so weak and the strong being so strong. She's also a sycophant which makes it even more awkward.

To be fair, Wendaug is easily one of the strongest party members. It's not uncommon for her to hit at 30+ damage at lower levels, and her crit chains are hilarious.

Well I did see on Reddit you can make her not so evil/romance playthrough. Which is fine. I'd potentially think is okay. Thing is if I have to screw over an entire people for it, then thats a no from me

You can do a good playthrough and keep wenduag AND lann quite possible. Did it for my gold dragon playthrough.

I like Wenduag in my evil playthroughs. Her character also gets more depth, albeit a bit cliche, in her romance route. I don't think I'd recommend her for a good playthrough though apart from the novelty. There's not much to her character outside the romance route that doesn't boil down to neutral evil character that's actually a chaotic evil archetype.

Now that's just a hyperbole. You quite literally can't get more evil than Camellia who murders and then eats bits of pieces and loves torture

Other than beating DR types, which can be pierced with feats, special arrows, or the right bow traits, there's no way a monk can keep up with a pure fighter for damage. The only reason I would choose to take Lann is to make him cleric from 2-20.

I play CN for the best mythic line Trixter anyhow. So what... if one person's hobby is making Scooby Snacks out of a guy named Scooby.

Thing is, if it's one and you can redeem her (I think through romance only right?)

So if it's just her, fine. My question specifically is if I do take her, will the mongrels get corrupted? Or can I NOT corrupt them and keep her by picking her first.

Lann I figure I can get later but I know if I get him first, Wend would betray me if I get her later.
