can't ressurect

I lost cassandra in the battle for Drezen, her portrait is gray so i dont know if that means she's ded dead and can't be ressurected. After gaining control of the town i bought a scroll of ressurection and raise dead both and neither seem to work. I went out of town to the nearest map, had her in my party but when I use it with ember i just get a weird clicking sound and it doesn't let me ressurect. I don't see her body on the map and clicking her portrait does nothing. Any ideas?

Don't think so the only status icon on her portrait is lowered constitution

do you have DIAMONDS in your inventory , you need them ...

for easy game design, you only need Diamonds, and Diamond dust ... all other ingredients are neglected , would be even more micromanagment

I had diamond dust but not a diamond so I bought one from the cleric just now, went to the closest map and tried using the scroll of resurection with ember and still just get that water drop sound that does nothing

there are different ones, if one of his attributs is also 0, you need the scroll, which heals attributs also and the ones , which could be used also after 2 turns ... and if none of your caster has the proper level , you have to cast it in Drezen in a city where a cleric is ...

Not sure if this is related, but I had a similar experience which turned out to be my mistake.

I bought a scroll for resurrection in Drezen and had a healer use it from my inventory and nothing happened but the scroll was gone. I tried again, this time I had Camellia selected and made her use it (since she was dead) and it worked. However, she would appear only lying flat down on the floor at her spot, and stayed in that position when you traveled like having a persisting bug.

A quicksave and a fresh loading game of that save solved that bug for me.

Yes, exactly what I was thinking back then!

I felt like I misunderstood how it works, but it seems when the dead person in Drezen use the scroll it counts as "read by cleric"

Thanks this was the problem. I read in a kingmaker thread that the scroll had to be equipped on the person in order to be used, so I equipped the scroll to Camellia who can't read it, talked to the healer and when I selected the scroll from Camellias quick bar it let me use it to resurrect her. So stupid that you can't use scrolls from inventory stash that would have saved so much headache

That is really odd i had Wenduag die as well to some odd weird thing not sure from what cause I never used her at all but I was able to use the res scroll in Drezen as soon as i bought it on her, also i never had it equipped just clicked Use from inventory

Dunno what to tell you. Since I had the save file seperated from the bug report I just tried using it without the healer's intervention. From the inventory clicking use nothing happened, but when I equipped camillia with the scroll and used it from her hotbar it worked. Didn't even use the diamond interestingly enough

Scrolls have the extra costs like diamonds etc. already covered. Technically using the spell with a healer cost 1k gold cheaper than the scroll, since you buy a diamond for 5k gold while the scroll is priced at 6k gold.
