On the cusp of the abyss - Can I wait to do it? [RESOLVED]

So There I was just going through the game, reading everything and stuff... then I came into drezen and he told me that we should assault in 30 days the cusp of the abyss, then I searched and it is the last mission no chapter 3, thing is I still need to do a lot of things in Chapter 3 (red exclamation missions)... and I REALLY dont want to reload 10/15 hours of gameplay because the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game didn't warned me I was heading towards a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ timed quest (GOD I hate those, I like to play the game enjoying everything, not running against time).

SO, the question is, When the time comes I HAVE to do the mission? Or can it wait until I finish everything on chapter 3? Im actually prettty damn pissed off right now. I don't care for bugs, but this kind of $hi# get on my nerves real bad.

"FIX": I found a auto-save before I talked to the herald, you can wait until later on to tell him you have the key to unlock the barriers, so now I can keep playing the third act until I finish everything else. Hope this can help someone else cause I was REALLY pissed off.

I'm having a hard time with this quest too it says to wait a week but i'm pretty sure i waited more than 1 week by now since it was active and the queen never came not sure what to do

Edit: Nvm it was a month not a week could've sworn i saw week but she finally came

Well, I'm on Azata, so I didn't wait for the Queen, but still, when the time came, I delayed about two-three weeks to finish all other quests with hourglass icon in this chapter, and nothing went wrong. I either way had to manually start the quest by talking to Herald, and it seemed like waiting longer wasn't doing any harm
