So who is the best summoner classes now? Or no change?

Is Sylvan Ssorc and monster tactician still the Kings of summoning?

I have not played yet, and the character build info is overwhelming lol, so I ask fellow players more knowledgeable than me.

Monster Tacticians still gets the best duration and most uses out of the Summon Monster spells, I believe. Not counting mythic paths, that is. I think that Lich gets to summon a buttload of undead

Druid still lacking? Always felt Druid should have been top tier summoner. Not into demons, Abysal not for me if so

from what im getting, The worst summoner is the herald caller Cleric class. the subclass devoted entirely to summoning

The bard Beast Tamer is a very interesting summoner. 6 fully buffed smilodons x 1 minute/level is very strong.

As a druid you can spontaneously convert your spells into summon nature ally spells, you'll always have the possibility of summoning stuff, although iirc a druid doesn't get any further benefits for summoning spells, like Monster Tactician does.

The druid level 9 'Elemental Swarm' is the best summoning spell in the game. Problem is you get it very late.

I feel like Beat Tamer is the best as its summons are separate from its spells so it gets everything.

plus the mythic feat that upgrades those smilodons with +1 to all relevant stats per mythic level

Too bad the game doesn't have "Class quests" specific to your primary class.

That's interesting. I liked playing the Slyvan Sorc to cast conjure offense spells, never played Bard but I'm only guessing they are support and melee not offense caster.

They are a support / ranged although i guess you could build them melee if you wanted to. They also buff there summons to make them significantly stronger.

Don't forget fighters with UMD and summon monster scrolls, they make....summoners of A (extremely bottom of the barrel lowest of the low) caliper

Sadly not.

Either its a bug or you only get one summon ability that gets upgraded with each level. :/
