Too bad the game doesn't have "Class quests" specific to your primary class.
That's interesting. I liked playing the Slyvan Sorc to cast conjure offense spells, never played Bard but I'm only guessing they are support and melee not offense caster.
They are a support / ranged although i guess you could build them melee if you wanted to. They also buff there summons to make them significantly stronger.
Either its a bug or you only get one summon ability that gets upgraded with each level. :/
