Also, there's some events that changes in kenabres depending on how long you took to reach them. (won't spoil though)
You also get exp and loot for finishing the garrison before the event. But yeah takes some quick running around then.
I can do that on one rest. But then I've done it three times during beta so it might take you two. No matter, if you do all that, and hand in the quests you should easily flip L5. At L5 this big battle becomes a pleasant romp. Web and Grease are the main solutions for it. You can finish off anything you avoided previously after the defence battle before you start the final Act 1 mission at leisure. No more timers involved.
If you rest spam however this battle will trigger at L3 and you will be in for a world of pain.
This is all you need to know. Just don't rest until you absolutely have to until you get to level 5, or at the very least L4. To achieve this don't fight anything nasty you don't have to fulfil quests until after the battle. It's not difficult to do this.
really ?
Like just as much ? That event for me is upward a thousand exp given how many you kill. Oh I'll have to try that sometimes.
I also want to stress that you need to click the toggle for recommended rest OFF, and only rest for 1 cycle.
Excellent point, I forgot about that. If you don't then any rest you do have to take will count double probably against the three rest limit.
