Summons and Animate Dead Broken
Hey there. I'm not sure what caused it, but it seems that all of my summons and animated undead just sort of... Stand there when conjured up. They can't be interacted with, they don't follow me along, they don't fight in normal or turn-based combat. In turn-based they just have that permanent Exclaimation Mark over their portraits.

I got no idea how to fix it, but the damn thing persists through rest, relog, anything.

Anyone had anything similar happen and knows of a fix?

Hah, seems it broke across the board. All of my saves, all of my characters, same problem. Authenticating game files did nothing.

Do you have any mods installed? Not saying it is not patch related bug (plenty of these to go around).

Yea, I tossed the mods. I'm not trying a fresh instal just in case -.- Not sure what the mod could have done though.

Found it. A mod increasing buff duration destroyed it. >.<

If you're using toybox to juice your buff durations... don't do that.

Report it to the toybox dev and ... just pretty much stop using toybox to tweak anything more than your ability scores by a few points and some money. That guy is adding way too many features to it than he really knows enough about, so it's kind of earning its reputation for breaking peoples games now.

There's no way to convince people to stop using it, but, well, if you're using wacky completely untested amateur code to ♥♥♥♥ around with the game, you're gonna find out.

Well..it is buggy, but its not amateur. Narria, Vek and several of the others are actively working in gamedev. As i understand it, the problem isnt adding or fixing stuff, its the interaction with other parts of the spaghetti code.

Is it just me or was Animate Dead nerfed from Kingmaker? The skeletons seem to drop a lot easier than before. IIRC they had more than 11-14 hitpoints. But it has ben a few years since Kingmaker. Anyone else notice this?

That's the question: they weren't in Kingmaker and could tank for a solo necromancer on Core for a while. Now I'm losing a whole squad of Skeleton Warriors to a enemy that has 3-4 attacks per round.

no need to extend their duration since they die in 2 rounds anyway... nerfing summon cheese is good tho to make the battles more interesting than Kingmaker
