I do love Invincible enemies that won't let me progress the game.
That's it. It's not hugely gamebreaking, but I don't think a game should need to be loaded up or restarted to "fix" the problem. lol

Nice specifics.
You're welcome? Enemies that won't die? I know regeneration is a thing, but enemies that "will not die" while they are prone or downed is pretty gamebreaking.

Are you talking about some undead in a cave?
1. You can skip those.
2. There is a way to stop them from coming back.

There are some enemies that absolutely MUST be finished off with certain element. Otherwise they will never die. Use flasks, spells or scrolls. This is not a bug, this is a feature.
I had the same problem with Bandits from Kingmaker. Again, it isn't gamebreaking, and restarting the game fixes the problem. I just think that "solution" shouldn't be on the table for this sort of bug.

Yeah, the meaning of invincible is what I was hung up on, thanks for clarifying.

Though I have come across a few cases of ACTUALLY invincible enemies. Like the first time I went into Pitax Wine Cellar and I reloaded 50 times, spent an hour trying to kill the wights in there because I thought I was doing something wrong before I realized I was actually hitting all my attack rolls, and they just weren't taking any damage. Apparently invincible enemies is something that just happens in some areas sometimes. I fixed it by restarting my game, reloading an earlier save, and then killing them. Had to reload back in the wine cellar for some reason about a half hour later because I missed something and they were invincible again, so I just downloaded toybox and killed them with it.

I had several enemies during my playthrough that were downed and health bar seemed to be on lowest point but they just refused to die after several minutes punching. It was definitely strange but eventually they all die, it just takes unexpected amount of time to finish them completely.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I hate needing knowledge of this sort of thing to enjoy the game. Well, Deathsnatcher's and Vampire Packleader's seem to be the things that aren't dying. lol

Enemies with regeneration don't die until you hit them with their vulnerability or kill them with coup de grace.

Yeah, wotr's difficulty comes from meta gaming. If you know about how the encounter works ahead of time, you'll breeze through it. If not? you'll probably die.

Hell, look at the end of act 2 battle. If you attack the wrong npc, well, your party just wipes.

Defend the heart in act 1? Gotta kill specific enemies to end the siege. Where most people would assume you just defend the place and kill whatever moves.

Pretty sure it specifically says to kill the arsonists. Like at no point was I confused about that, even my first time in it.

You heal it while it down and it should die
If you have selective channeling feat it won’t dmg them
