How do you raise dead companions in town?

Is there a way that I can revive a companion when I go from one act to the next? I'm disappointed they aren't auto revived already.

Where is their body when you're in a safe zone/town area?

Raise Dead 6k or Res scroll 12k i believe or buy a Diamond for 5k if a companion knows ressurect and have to go to a map where you can explore

Only if they have deaths door the stage before actual death, if your playing on easier difficulties norm and below i think

If you click on their icons when in an area it moves to where their body is which is usually invisible for some reason. So, go to any area with your dead party member in your party, click their portrait and your camera will focus on their body then use your scroll on where it focused

Doesn't work. When I tried this, their bodies appear to be off the edge of the map. Since I can't go there, I can't use the spell.

Ok I know this post is oooooooold but…I lost seelah my tank and was messing around trying to figure this out. With a raise dead scroll you go to the area you know they died at(the body won’t be on screen) use the scroll on their portrait and boom. They’re back.

Figured that one out nearly a year ago, thanks. In Drezen, you can cast the scroll on their portrait whether you have a body or not...I simply thought you needed to have a body.

I was looking for a way to resurrect my dead companion in my camp (or Drezen, at that point), without going to some other map with them.
This worked for me: get a Raise Dead scroll (bought it for 6000 from the priest), go to the inventory, select the dead character (since you can go to any character's stats / inventory in your camp), right-click the scroll in the Shared Stash with dead character selected and choose Use. Profit. Didn't get any penalties like negative levels.

I've lost Camellia in the big fight with Minagho in Act 1... and I had no resurrection scrolls. She got automatically revived in the beginning of Act 2... for free. I guess that's the least the Queen and her priests can do for saving Kenabres.

I cant use the scrolls of raise dead or resurrection with any of my characters for some reason, camilla died during the raid on defenders heart because i was not prepared, but now i cant seem to revive her

There should be a priest in every main camp that will cast those spells for you

None of your characters need to be able to use resurrect dead character if you have scroll.
Simply select dead character while in camp (grey icon), choose resurrect/revive dead scroll and "use".
Resurrect/Revive don't need any skill to "self-use" in camp, not sure about overworld map.
