Jerboa?
Is anyone else getting followed around by an unselectable jerboa? It's acting like an animal companion, but there's nobody in the party who has one...

(I'm half expecting it to turn into a demon and shank me at some point)

Do any of your characters have an item on their belts that sounds like it could be some animal that gives a bonus to perception and other skills?

Nope! Not aside from my main character carrying Tiger the pet cat around.

Those appear as little animals following you around. Is the Jerboa an additional thing following your around other than that pet? What chapter are you in?

Chapter 4, I believe. And yeah, it's behaving exactly like a familiar, but I've no idea why...

I got one too, after finishing chapter 2 and selecting Azata path.

Maybe that's it. Perhaps jerboas just like Azatas.

I've got one following me too. I'm also starting Ch4, and also went Azata. Looking like maybe the path is the cause

I noticed it before I selected Azata (which I did) once I was in one of the buildings in Drezen. I'm really curious, too.

Funny that this issue is a year old. In Act 2, as Azata, also have a strange little Jerboa friend following me around everywhere. Not that I mind that much, but having a Jerboa, Cat, and Lizard following me everywhere is making my Evil Sorceress feel more like a Disney princess.

Must be a Azata thing , like with Lich you can see souls and talk to them , it's a cool little detail if that's the case and not a bug ....

it actually appears in Act 2 when you select Azata and get Aivu..... the lil Jerboa starts following you from that point on....

It's an Azata mythic path "feature". It doesn't do anything, it's just there for the "fluff" of the mythic path.

It seems like Owlcat love Jeboas - remember that little kobold in Kingmaker with is two jerboas "friends" ?
