What is an 'iterative attack'?
The Mythic ability Flawless Attack says it will make an Iterative Attack only -4 instead of -5. Only thing is, I don't know what the hell an Iterative Attack is, and I've never seen it mentioned in any of my attacks as a negative modifier. I don't know if this is an ability that's specific to only one class that I'm not playing, or if it's a mechanic that just flat out isn't explained.

Can anyone explain this to me?

Iterative attacks are the extra attacks you get as your BAB grows. At +6 BAB, and every 5 above that, you get another attack with a cumulative -5 Penalty.

So a Fighter at level 6 gets an attack with +6 BAB and a second attack with +1. At level 11, they have +11/+6/+1. A cleric at level 8 has +6/+1.

At, 6,11 and 16ba you get an extra attack when you attack as a full round action but at an incremental -5 penalty, with that ability, you would get -4 instead.
16/11/6/1 vs 16/12/8/4.

At a guess, iterative is referring to your extra attacks from BAB. So for example if you’re at +17 BAB you have attacks at +17/+12/+7/+2.

I imagine that’s an iterative attack. That being said I have no idea if that would become +17/+13/+8/+3, or +17/+13/+9/+5, or +17/+13/+9/+5/+1.

Iterative is from iteration, copy of, facsimile, etc.

For game purposes: 'Attacks after your first attack'

I understand the definition of iteration. But I never had copies of attacks, and I never would have connected it to Full Round Attacks.

Thanks for the answers everyone, I appreciate it!

Just picked flawless attacks up on a 12th lv slayer,
my main hand was: +17, +12, +7 off hand +17, +12
with the feat it is: +17, +13, +9 off hand +17 +13

Seams kind of low value since it just gives +1 attack and not to your primary attack.
