Arueshalae seems like a good person, but she's chaotic neutral?

I originally planned on romancing Camellia for my chaotic good Azata run. But now here's Arueshalae, a redemption seeking succubus who also follows Desna and likes Azata's. I know I just met her but she seems to fit a "good" romance instead of a neutral one.

My next playthrough was gonna be a lawful neutral Aeon along with all the other neutral companions. It'd be interesting to switch the spots for romance but I've heard that Camellia will leave if you have Aeon powers, that and she has some sort of big surprise.

What should I do!? Can I still keep Camellia if I'm an Aeon? I don't know who fits where. Hmmm, I suppose there's also the Queen. XD

Arushalae is chaotic because of her demon nature. As for the neutral part I have one theory

That it changes like a companion quest in Kingmaker. If you redeemer it becomers chaotic good , if you corrupt her she becomes CE

More importantly here is a personal theory based on the tabletop lore

In the lore there is a succubus namesd Nocticula. She had the power to kill other demons . Long story short she used that power to help humans and she became a Chaotic good godess herself . More importantly her appeance was EXACTLY the same as Arushalae including the blue hair . So Arushalae is either Nocticula or at least her story is inspired by her .

In either case, Arush is definately the best romance for Chaotic Good characters. Camellia is better for Tricksters and Demons

Aeon best option would be Queen and Lann ( if female ) . Cammelia doesnt work well with Aeon it is explained in dialogue and there is even a rumor that she leaves you.

Yuh, she had a chaotic evil origin until she found redemption. But despite trying to do good, she still has to weight her options when it comes to succubus activities to the point where she literally became a voyeur. Given that Desna is pretty chaotic neutral and her follower tends to follow the same path...doesnt want to join the crusades but at the same time only fight the demons just because the world wound is destroying all things that are beautiful. Plus they want to have fun while doing it.

As for Camilla, I went with the azata so I have no idea what comes in the future.

No shes not that character from the tabletop, you'll meet that character soon enough; Arush is also literally a separate character in the tabletop campaign not related to that person you are thinking of.

Arush is neutral because alignment shifts gradually, after her first step on the path of redemption, she shifted to Chaotic neutral. The PC can help finalise that redemption (Chaotic Good) or shove her back down into darkness (Chaotic Evil).

Edit: Aeon works with Queen. Basically Lawful paths, Angel and Aeon.

You can't romance the Queen on Aeon. No shes not that character from the tabletop, you'll meet that character soon enough. I thought you can romance the queen on any Good path if I'm not mistaken? I think only evil paths can't romance her.

Correction it seems Aeon and Angel have a shot with Galfrey. Camillia is DEFINITELY a no go with Aeon, in fact she leaves your party completely.

If you successfully corrupt her, she leaves your party and rejoins in Chapter 5 sporting new....attire.

I am sorry but that makes no sense. There is an Aeon choice at the start of act 2 that allows her to stay wih the army . She also has another dialogue with aeon at act 5 ( but i dont know the nature )

Discord has "locked" angel and aeon as romane paths for the Queen because they are the requirement to keep her in act 2. That doesnt mean that you need to "stay " angel or aeon

We know that the 4 evil paths and Trickster Azata cannot romance her but Aeon Legend and Golden Dragon have not been ruled out yet . Its possible that some of the Angel dialogues are not there for the romance but because it makes sense for an Angel to have extra dialogue with the Queen because of her backround .

That said if someone can say with 100% certainty that Gold Dragons cannot romance her please let me know because I plan to change at rank 8 .

I just romanced Wenduag as the Aeon, she seems like an upstanding law abiding citizen. probably gonna wake up in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cocoon or something with her eating my face. I gotta do an evil playthrough though because Arushalae seems like she was cooler before Desna turned her into a demonic pillow waifu with no spine and i want to turn her back evil.
