Didn't bring someone with Trickery, now stuck in Drezen Citadel *Minor Spoilers*

So I chose to go with Regill and the Hellknights to attack Drezen. Obviously Regill had to be in the party, so I left the Shaman behind in favor of Seelah, Sosiel, Daeran and Llan. Wanted to roll heavy with tanks and healers, with DPS being Llan and my main. Moved along just fine, just bulldozed over traps if i had to and entered the Citadel.

Here's my problem, I can't leave Drezen and I can't swap out Companions. Which means I'm stuck here because I can't pick any of the doors that are locked.

So, unless there's a way around the locked doors or someone knows how I can swap in my Shaman for some trickery??

I really don't want to fight my way through Drezen again,

Had this problem, got here and realized that almost none of the companions take trickery in auto levels- huge newbie trap, turned difficulty down to fool-proof and cleared it.

You shouldn't HAVE to pick any locks to clear it, as far as I can tell, I beat it with a group of dumbasses.

If I am not mistaken, the only locked door in the citadel that you absolutely must open to progress has a key that can be found on one of the enemies near the fake Sword of Valor. You'd still have to deal with making will saves every 10 minutes to avoid taking CHA damage though.

I did get that key, didn't seem to open any of the doors, but maybe I missed it. I'll check, again.

*EDIT* Totally missed the stairs that go down to the right instead of left toward the forge. Going to move through and see how that goes.

Does it matter what approach you take to attack Drezen? Frontal, dungeon or attacking with the Hellknights?

Do you lose anything from taking specific paths?

That just affects where you start during the siege. Going with the Hellknights locks Regill into your party but does put you closer to where you can get to the giants throwing stuff at you.

I'll likely go with the dungeon approach then, as that should get me Succubabe sooner, right?

The door is in the same hall as the fake banner. If you rotate the map so that the fake banner is on top, the door would be to your left.

where is the key for this door? not a single enemy there dropped me one, kinda stuck here

nevermind in a doofus, had the key without realising... saw the door had a 0% lockpick chance, assumed i did not have it!

My game is bugged and it won't let me pick any locks despite having trickery! half of my party are rogues!

Completely understandable since the door just shows icons for pick 0% apprentice lockpick 0%, why would you try them and break your lockpick and jam the door?

Thats some kinda bug. I had someone with over 20 trickery on me and it showed the 0% as well. I was super confused ran all the way back in that dungeon just to scroll back to the door when there wasnt any other path to find out when I now hovered over it it has something like 70%.

Hi! I found the door, I kill all the mobs in the fake banner. But I still dont have the key because the doors says "you need a key". But all the enemies that spawn on the fake banner are dead and i didn't get any key. How can I advance? I'm frustated as Ive been 4 hours looking for a solution but nothing. Sorry for my english.

Really silly question, have you tried just left clicking on the door even though it says it locked? i was in the same boat as you not being able to find the key, turns out i had it anyway without realising... the door still showed as locked when i had the key

Thanks Jaevwyn! yes, i have already tried. In fact, i have looted everything and tried everything and still not able to open the door. I have a random key (maybe the one i need) but i cant open it. It´s frustrating..
