What's with the random difficulty spikes?

Like, just no warning. Beat the insect queen, plowed through the caves underneath and by plowed I mean literally just barreled through without resistance.

And then BAM

Two vrocks outta nowhere. Instant party wipe. A little warning woulda been nice?

Very rarely game puts you in combat with optional hard enemy . If you move slowly you can always stop ur party after you see them and they don't start attacking as soon as they see you .

You can also make a fast stealth character 2 move in front of your party and scout the area .

But ofc even then you will still get ambushed sometimes but hey , that's life in a fantasy war setting ;). So keep one hand over space bar all the time and F5 like there's no tomorrow
