did either of you find out in the end? im trying to find it now, spent like an hour roaming the map and killing armies, wiped out about 10 armies and still nothing

This quest cleared for me after defeating a level 9 army near Terendelev's Lair.

Others have reported the quest clearing after defeating a random demon army. Its not always the same one

thats so absurd lol, theres no tracker, not even in a quest log, no marker on any army, its just guess work essentially

For me, the army was using the figure normally used for attacking armies, not the one for stationary ones.

Storm Peak is far into the Wound. It is the base from where he army comes that moves on Drezen. The army appears at the southern end you can still see and moves north. Nothing special to it, just a crusade task to exercise your generals.

im trying to find the army and kill it so i can move on with the main story since it auto fails when you move into chapter 4, ill try going south

It was a level 9 stationary army for me far in the south. If you draw a straight line between the Heart of Mystery and Kenabres it would be pretty much exactly in the middle of that line.

I have not a single demon army on the map and it didn't clear. Just hate failing a quest I haven't even been issued yet.

Look for an army that is the LAIR type - not ARMY type - and it has balor icons for troops - i don't know if the army strengths vary by crusade difficulty, but mine was a 9 strength.
