Report a translation problem
you go through the locked doors with the lockpick item thing. I forgot what its name is but it has its own graphic. The item that the OP is talking about does not open doors and I had the same issue. Just a box and no name. There have also been other items which were just boxes but were supposed to be some kind of accessory and there have also been some items or other things that do nothing or say null

I assumed, it should be a helmet, as the text implies. but it looks like a box.
When looking at games in early development, they often use this as a placeholder. And as there are plenty of items, it is possible, that it was just overlooked.
