Are you proficient with that armor?
Are you suffering from any demonic corruption?
Are you deafened or suffering from any other kind of debuff?
Are you sure your feat allows you to ignore 20 ASF? Or is it just 10%?
Lol no. Please read the post.
...
lol yes.
1. Yes. 100.
2. Yes. 100.
3. No corruption, Defending the tavern, 1st go around.
4. The only effect is the blessing of Torag. 100.
5. The 1st feat is 10%, the second feat gives 20% total.
Negative. No.
What is the armor you are wearing?
Studded leather (Armor of the Unbending, 15% ASF) and a light shield (5% ASF)
That is correct. It's arcane ARMOR mastery. Ditch the shield and you're good to go Talok.
Would be nice if you could send us a screenshot or something of your char so we could take a look and possibly give you more tips.
The description on both bard and skald say that the 0ASF failure from shields only count for THEIR spells but it applies to ALL arcane spells. I've tested this myself as in my first playtrough I played an Arcanist/eldritch knight with 1 level of bard to use shields it's a bug/feature that carries over from Kingmaker where 1 level of bard did the same thing, and since Skalds are implemented similarly it should work with 1 level of that as well.
This appears to be it. Some notation in the feat description or tool tip on the shield would be helpful. Thanks everyone for the help. Much appreciated.
