This is a unique twist that the pathfinder series has on other RPG games where usually a few hours in you have more money then you could ever need but also a nice problem to have; needing money at all times, hence it having value.
- create a manual save file with a ''name''
- Open you save file with winRAR
- Open Player.json with Notepad
- Search for -> Money
- Edit the number
- close, save and accept
- load you save file
Same thing with PoE 1 & 2 so many upgrades for other stuff and not enough to get equipment in the beginning I try to balance it the best i can
Excellent i was looking for this to get enough gold to start with custom characters.
I assume this won't disable achievements?
that do not disable achievements
I understand for PC (I have a Mac so I couldn't even run them) there are "trainer" programs and savefile editors that can edit your savegames, notably gold.
And even at the start of the game I have enough to buy 3 mercs at level 3, 1 at 4, and the other at 5 to have a full custom party, not to mention buying all the potions and scrolls I want. Gold is never an issue in this game.
Same here. I still have my save game before i recruited my mercs. With the pre-order stuff sold i was able to hire 4 mercenaries soon after the start and 1 last shortly after. I was at level 3 right before i hit level 4 (8911/9000) when i bought those 4. Also the mercenary price is lower than the game shows you. For example the game shows me that i need to spend 4500 on a merc but the actual price is 4089. The thing is you need to have those 4500 to buy one but only 4089 is substracted.
I remember that in Kingmaker it was showing 2000 gold for a merc but actually charged 500.
Alternatively there is a comfortable editor: https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderwrathoftherighteous/mods/91
