If she has useful buffs, get her Enduring Spells, and Abundant Spells works always for full casters. Mythic spell penetration takes care of that problem, and if you want her to do the occasional nuke, pick Ascendant Element. Mythic Spell Focus raises her DC for one school if she has the normal focus feats, and there is a mythic feat that makes all focus feats count for another school in one go.
Otherwise, the easiest way to build her is to focus conjuration. Conjuration has debuffs and summons, and she can make an excellent summoner. Use one mythic power/feat to get expanded arsenal in either evocation or enchantment or another strong witch school and you're set.
Healing is best done by buying 10000 potions of cure light wounds and using healers as backup healbots only when those run out or you are afraid of a party member death in combat.
But, tbh, I just have her for moral support lol.
Evil eye someones saves, then hit them with misfortune while cackling. If I understand how it works, evil eye always hits for one round, cackle prolongs it, and then you misfortune them.
If they can be affected by mind affecting, this makes them roll twice at a -2 (-4 later) penalty. Combine with some quickened crushing despair (and mind fog if you have a friend wizard), and you can make them save at -16 (-6 without mind fog) rolling twice and taking the worse roll.
Needless to say, that's a lot of settup, and all Ember's actions for several rounds, but it lets you really screw someone.
Ember is, low key, one of the most optimal companions. Camilla is pretty up there for her niche, as is Seelah, but Ember has a great niche for the gameplay and does it well.
so abundant casting, mythic spell penetration, then Element Ascendent (Fire)
I don't think giving it to her makes any sense, but it is an interesting option.
She's way too fragile to be in front lines IMHO
