Was not interested in the other paths so don't know.
My bad. At any rate the Angel Path felt more LG than NG to me. Which is good cause NG is my least fave.
Actually in the lore the angel group is any good, the alignment depends on the subspecies of celestial. The ng "angels" are the agathions, archons being the lg ang azatas the cg.
Yep. Archons are the LG outsider subtype. The main groups are Archons (LG), Angels (NG), Azatas (CG), Aeons (LN), Proteans (CN), Devils (LG), Daemons (LN), and Demons (CE). Then you have the smaller groups, like Qlippoth and Asura.
Pretty sure Angel in WOTR is LG & NG, Gold Dragon is LG, Aeon definitely LN
Only in Act V with my Demon Run, had 320-340 hours in Beta, need to revisit the other paths in full game now
Thanks i did chose for this character im thinking about the Angel path.
And not just aeons, they used several materials from second edition.
That said, i'm guessing (and my guesses are increasingly becoming outdated as people actually know and are not fiddlying around with theorycrafting or new portrait creation...), that you're fine with any path up to a point. Like a NG Trickster. When allowed you're usually safe being 2 alignment shifts removed like deities. So Trickster is CN, but works for any non-lawful.
Some paths are known to force you ever so more into their true nature and this is where i'm guessing (again), you will have conflict that forces you to make a choice: Do I stay on this mythic path to its inevitable end, or do I jump ship towards another mythic path more to my liking. That's where the late game paths come in: A mythic course correction on alignment and fate.
