A way to improve map travel speed?

Is there any decree/research/items/whatever to increase the party speed on the regional map? I know we can build teleports later on, but most of the time it is 1/day spell and in the beginning only Drezen qualifies for the building..

Sadly as far I know it is only possible with mods to raise your map speed.

If you have someone in your party with a high Knowledge: Religion skill assigned to protect the party against abyssal corruption when you rest, and they succeed on the check, then you can get a buff that increases your travel speed on the world map.

In my experience the buff reduces the amount of time added to the hour counter, but it doesnt actually make your icon move faster on the map.

The best you're going to get is plopping down a bunch of teleportation circles in acts 3 and 5.

Some cooking buffs overland travel. Either time or speed.

I assumed that it was the passage of game time that they were trying to improve. I can't imagine needing the icon to move around faster... it isn't particularly slow except when passing through ruined sections of Kenabres.
