Sorry about that.
The numbers to get new units are SO broken and poorly balanced that choosing Lich ensures you lose the campaign through attrition.
You need to kill 250 enemies to spawn 1 Skeleton. It's 1500 kills (in one battle) to get a vampire. The number of kills required is so wildly unbalanced you lose the campaign, since most demon armies will give you 0-1 skeletons each, ensuring your army is always shrinking.
Good to know. Oh well, time to cheat then.
What's helped me is healing magic works on undead, which I was worried about initially, so I don't lose anything.
Facepalm. Well bug discovered.
The main undead army doesn't seem to generate units past 600. Take them out of your army and use other units to generate undead.
*This might be any undead army with undead in it, I will test.
Not for me. I don't know if it's because I'm using the original 600/600 or what, but my Clerics and my General do damage with their Heals when aimed at the undead units.
