Failing identifying

Unless you start the game as a class with high arcana you are going to fail identifying a lot of the items up till you get ember or nenio. My question is can I try to reidentify these items and how?

They are automatically identified at vendors.

You can also try to re-identify magical items by increasing your characters Lore:Arcana skill but as Korosu said, taking unidentified items to a vendor will always reveal what they are. The benefit of making the Lore Arcana check is you can start using the item right away in the dungeon or what have you.
