Permanent Sickened
So one of my characters has a permanent Sickened debuff, and I have no idea how to get rid of it. Other permanent effects, like Blindness or Disease, have spells like Remove Blindness or Remove Disease. Sickened, however, I can't find a cure for. The spell Remove Sickness only temporarily suppresses the effects of the Sickened condition; it doesn't get rid of it. I've tried spells that remove poison, remove disease, remove curse, lesser and normal restoration - none of it works. I did find a spell scroll called Cleanse in the shop, which gets rid of Sickened, but it only targets the caster, and my character who is sickened can't cast that spell, which means I can't even cast it on her in camp. Any ideas for how to get rid of permanent Sickened? I suppose I could just wait until my paladin gets her next Mercy and choose Sickened, but there's got to be another way to get rid of it, right?

I'm having the same trouble. Seelah has permanent sickness. I just now noticed it and will have to try heal or cleans to get rid of it. Paladins do not become immune to sickness.

Nobody does really, except the undead and constructs.

It does not look right though, more like a bug. The sickened condition is typically shortlived, and certainly not permanent. Ghasts can cause it, but only for up to 10 minutes. Diseases cause stat damage, but not conditions.
Maybe you can remove the problem with respeccing the paladin.

Edit: check worn items; there are some that can cause problems for the wrong alignment.

Try multiple hits with lesser restoration, it should tick down

Same issue. Nothing seems to remove it. Will try the heal scroll shortly.

No scrolls of heal to be found. Argh. Greater Restoration, Break Enchantment, Remove Disease, Remove Sickeness, none of them remove it.

The only fix. That was going to be my last resort. Confirmed. Breath of life worked.

I'm guessing you tried sleeping at your current camp/base/whatever? I usually get most stuff automatically cleared when I rest in mine.

Tried that. Did not work. Death and raise remains only fix aside from possibly the Heal spell. Not high enough level to check Heal and no scrolls to buy, so cannot confirm whether it works or not.

apparently there's "treat affliction" ability, available to everyone, but it uses lore: religion skill. it can remove sickness, and i've just removed gray pox from one of my characters that way. not sure it'll work in your case though.

Hi guys, if anyone is still having this same issue, I spent hours trying to solve it. Remove sickness doesn't remove the sickness condition. As people stated, killing the character and ressurecting it does fix it, and also the lay on hans from a paladin with the buff. BUT THERE IS A MUCH EASIER WAY. Scroll o CLEANSE. You can buy it from the priest in front of the temple in Drezen, there are probably other places to find it as well, but that is where I found it and BAM, problem solved.

There are so many negative effects that are super confusing to remove.

Treat affliction does not work for the condition my character had. I did give that one a try.

I have not tested the paladin ability as I did not have that particular mercy available at the time. Good to know.

A scroll of Cleanse is problematic, however, as it is a personal only spell. This means getting it to work on someone who cannot cast it normally and does not have sufficient use magic device skill would be difficult if not impossible. Good to know it works, though!

You can use cure/remove scrolls in safe places (tavern, Drezen) directly from inventory.
Tested it on my ugly fighter (-1 CHA, -1 Mag. Dev), no problem using remove curse, remove dissease etc.

Actualy even though the selling cleric will tell you that he will help you, it has been always someone from my party who used that on me - at least according to logs.
As for Cleanse scroll - it's kinda weird one. You can use other scrolls directly from inventory, but Cleanse you have to put on belt, use it - and then party member with high enough MD will roll for it and it will cleanse you. Maybe a bug?

Anyway Cleanse works, thank god, as my Rogue got stuck with perma sickness too :)

I have this same problem on my monk tank. Here is a question - by any chance do the other characters with this problem have the Unstoppable mythic ability? I suspect maybe the character became nauseated at some point, the trait reduced it to sickened, and then just left it permanent because the game is kind of an unfinished mess.

The character in question did not have unstoppable. Good thought, though, and could still be a contributing factor to other instances. In my instance, none of my characters had that mythic ability.
