Do I need WIS and CHAR on a Paladin
Or is one of both enough to be able to use spells?

Paladin is a stat heavy class. Wisdom for spells. STr and Con for fighting and charisma to.

No, paladin does not need WIS. Paladins use CHA for casting.

Paladin uses charisma for their spell casting. I think wisdom is only for saves .

Wisdom is not needed for spells, in Pathfinder Paladins work off Charisma. You need 10+ the level of whatever spell you intend to cast, but you will only ever have spells up to 4th level. So tops you will need 14 Charisma on your Paladin, if your only concern is casting spells. Paladins do benefit from Charisma in other ways, but that's up to you.

okay not quite as stat heavy as D&D then but still stat heavy. Usually a class only has 2 important stats.

Dump your Wisdom stat...

You don't need to worry about losing saving throws because your Chr bonus will be applied to them.

I think my Paladin was 18 s, 12 d, 14 con, 10 int, 7 wis, 16 chr

Or you can go 16 s and 18 chr

Human was race.

PS - Charisma bonuses are also applied to your Smite Evil, gives you more Attack and more AC.

They are just str and charisma and some leftover dex or con as you see fit.

thats 3 ..Con is always important for a front line fighter. Plus you don't want dex to be to low. Int is you want any skill points whatsoever.
