Does this game have black powder weapons?
I'm kind of tired of RPGs that take place in pre-gunpowder eras. I prefer Warhammer style worlds where black powder guns exist. So does this game have them? It doesn't seem like it does.

None that I've seen.

It's fantasy; Swords & sorcery. The setting just does not have guns that I'm aware of.

Damn that's a shame.

Not that I've seen.

They exist in the Pathfinder world, but not in this region.

Alchemic grenades is as close as you can get in these games. I think there is a gunslinger in PnP though, not sure what module.

Fantasy doesn't need to lack black powder guns. Anyone who's familiar with the Warhammer franchise knows that. But thanks for answering the question.
nah. Pillars 2 has em if you're looking for a game tho.

Pathfinder setting HAS black powder weapons. There's an entire Gunslinger class. They just didn't include it in this game for some reason.

It doesn't need to, but fantasy folks tend to like fantasy because it doesn't have it

I can't imagine why that would be. I remember my initial reaction to Game of Thrones was disappointment that world didn't have them, thus turning out to be another generic medieval sword and bow setting.

Pathfinder as a whole have blackpowder weapons. One of my favourite combinations is the Gunslinger and Arcane Archer Magus, where you use your gun to deliver your harmful magic spells.

Sadly the owlcat games does not include it, but since they promised modding tools one could hope the community mods it in. Cause I would definitely love that.

Check out both Pillars of Eternity games for gunpowder weapons in a fantasy environment. Or Greedfall if you want more of an action rpg with them.

I've already beaten both the Pillars games, but thanks all the same.

Apparently the lead designer felt they didn't fit the tone of the story so they aren't in the game.
