I can't imagine why that would be. I remember my initial reaction to Game of Thrones was disappointment that world didn't have them, thus turning out to be another generic medieval sword and bow setting.
Sadly the owlcat games does not include it, but since they promised modding tools one could hope the community mods it in. Cause I would definitely love that.
I've already beaten both the Pillars games, but thanks all the same.
