How can you even remove this affliction? It's one of the worst I've seen in a CRPG this early into the game. Every day it causes you to get some new malus, and it says to remove it you need to "save three times", yet it's a CON check, and the affliction actually progressively damages your CON, and on a character that has that stat at a moderate or default level...good luck getting a single save, let alone three.

To remove the CON penalties you have to waste slots on Lesser Restoration, but then after you use them, when you rest again to restore spells, you get hit with yet another debuff. This crappy affliction also damages your WIS, which means less spell slots if you're a divine caster. You know, those who actually can cast Lesser Restoration?

You can buy lesser restoration potions for 300gp at the inn. That's one of the easiest ways to remove the affliction.

Gotta admit that I'm also not a fan of the rando demon plague that is constantly rearing its ugly head but I get it and begrudgingly accept its there.
Just saying that I feel your pain.

Remove Disease spell is available to level 5 Cleric/Druid/Shaman or level 6 Oracle. I haven't gotten far enough to encoutner Demon Plague, but sounds like a disease to me, so that should clear it.

Lesser restoration only clears the ability damage, but does not clear a disease or poison that causes the damage.

The skill check DC for everything in this game is overtuned. Just save scum using remove disease scrolls

Except no, those do not work. All they do is remove the daily malus that the affliction causes. You cannot remove Demon Plague with that. The whole problem is that you're required to make three saves against it, yet the stats you need to use to save the plague continually damages each day and the damage stacks.

Getting hit with this at low levels is awful, and shouldn't be happening. I guess one way to remove it is to turn on the option that removes debuffs/afflictions on rest, but I didn't want to go that route.

I used, 'Scroll of Remove Disease', to remove it, however it took more than one scroll.

its so sad that they can let you contract this disease at lvl 3-4 when exploring the FIRST area available to you in the Market district.

Try to have 20-30 first aid kits in your inventory (they are cheap) and try to remove affliction (it's next/close to your coup de grace and charge ability) with the character with highest religion. If you have Sosiel with "a bit of luck" or somebody who can cast the fortune hex, you will get even better chances
