How to resurrect dead companions in Act 1?

So I'm in Act 1 and I'm on the verge of assaulting the Gray Garrison to save the city, but I have two dead companions, one of whom is Camillia. The problem is, I've yet to go to the rich merchant's house with her and can't find a way to revive dead companions. I can't find anyone in the Heart who offers resurrection services.

Can I still do that quest without her to a certain extent? Or is there a way to craft or buy a resurrection scroll?

I don't remember if he has one or not, but there is a guy who sells scrolls in the tavern. The priest guy in the main room of the tavern.

I was hoarding and had like 20k, then 50k at the end of Gray garrison. In theory it's possible to get that much money if you go back to locations you cleared, pick up everything and sell it. Unless all the gold is in now locked locations you can't return to. Most of the gold was in the market place I think though

You find what looks like shells they are grey in color{to me anyway lol!} during the very beginning{sorry i forget where} I still have em as i've yet to die{just lucky}

you are talking about Terendelev scale, they can revive people if you find them. They do give two permanent negative levels though so you might want a scroll of greater restoration to clear that I think, so again money, probably less that the ressurection scrolls though

I have around 19k in cash but can't find the scroll seller in the tavern. There's a priest named J-something but he doesn't offer me any services.

And I've already used the Terendelev scales.

At this point all I have left to do is the Gray Garrison and the merchant's house. I've been everywhere and done everything else.

Try the opposite end of the tavern, among the civilians and wounded next to the fireplace and the stage. Just look for lots of grey beard.
