How do I merge armies / transfer units?
I have 3 armies (without a general) standing on top of each other. I tried clicking the "i" in the bottom right, then the double arrow button (<- ->) also in the bottom right, but I can't seem to be able to merge my armies :(

It feels like I'm missing something obvious but what?

I'm having this problem as well. If someone knows how to do this, that would be awesome!

It should work, I believe, if they are all in the same spot. The whole army system is garbage, has no tutorial, and doesn't work in an intuitive manner, either.

Its trick. Its a double arrow button BUT is the one in the main map on the right side of units name(at the end of the name).

Put them in the same spot and press the double arrow button like what Elrond said above. You can drag your units around from army to army.

Omg so clever! Well deserved award! It was bugging me since yesterday!

I was looking at the squad tab (where you see the units) and at the left tab (where you see the list of armies, with a little "i" to their left) but it's actually where the army is located, on the map itself!

Congrats on discovering that button! It has no reason to be there as we've never had to interact with the map other than for moving. It's a UX/UI disaster, but the first one I've noticed in a game that has been perfect so far!

Worth to note that your starting army can only contain 3 units in total so pick a general that has that maneuver skill that lets you get 1 extra slot.

Thanks for the advice!

And wow you already unlocked "path of the lich"! Congrats! I want to make a lich too but I'm nowhere near that far yet. I just got my party kidnapped and I'm trying to get them back.

No problem i had that problem at the beginning as well.

haha yeah thanks ,sacrificed some sleep to power through the early game :D
