Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - Enhanced Edition

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - Enhanced Edition

I'm a Pathfinder: Kingmaker fan
I loved all the companions of PF:K (especially Linzi and Ekundayo) and wanted to buy this game on day one. But now I only hear horrible things about the companions of WotR.

Are the horror tales true?

The companions are so far much more fleshed out and better designed... i mean a paladin i don't wanna choke? unheard of!
I found most of the followers' personlities to be somewhere between annoying and dull so far (I find Camellia in particular to be insufferable). But then again, I didn't particularily care for the followers in Kingmaker either, so you might find them appealing?

Not being condescending, just stating different strokes for different blokes. Try watching the start of a let's play or something, and see how you feel.

Edit: Fixed some grammar n' stuff. Writing is hard, apparently.

My only complaint so far is that the Paladin at the beginning (I forget her name) is kind of annoying. But that's about it.
Not a major fan of most of them, but you'll most likely find a few that you find interesting. None of them are unbearable so far; some are just either mildly grating or kind of dull imo. Writing is kind of uneven, but that was the case in PK, as well. I find the NPCs to be interesting and well-written, though.
So far I like most of the companions compared to the prior one. Love Seelah. Torn between loving and hating Nenio, who behaves much like the goblin from the last game, in that she has an inflated sense of self-worth and will constantly ask you for favors while acting rude and condescending toward you.

They are not exactly lovable for the most part, but then again who ever is.
If power is your goal, they are as useless as every character that comes with these game, except Sarevok blessed be thy name.
Unlike us players, the devs need to try to match the stats with the storys of the charachters so they will always come out "weird".

AS forthe story beats and dialgoues..... heh. thats what mercs are for.
