At the very least, the spiders are relatively cartoony. Akin to WoW's, not particularly realistic in either appearance or movements. Nothing like Grounded's, for instance. If it's a lighter version of the phobia, It might be enough to not trigger.
My advice to people with this issue is you need to decide not to. I had the same problem until I actively told myself they're just pixels on the screen and thus can't hurt you. Forced myself to go into game areas that have spiders and now they don't really creep me out so bad anymore. (Except for those little alien-spider bastards in Satisfactory. Those frikin things still send shivers up my spine.)
Real spiders are still a bit of a problem, but at least I can actually play certain video games now.
