Search the place where Terendeleve died

Quest seem bugged. Ive come back to the place 3x now and theirs nothing I havent already picked up. Ive completed all other quests and cant do anything til I complete this quest. Any help or am I bugged and screwed?

You got the scales, you show the scales to the story teller. I don’t know what you are ment to find in the square but The second item is actually in a place called lepers smile later on. As long as you showed the story teller the scale you will find the second item there and be able to show it to him.

I have the scale and did the purple dagger thing, but still the storyteller wont talk to me and theres nothing left near the market square.

ur good, if you unlocked daeren as well ur double good because you pass the bloodtrail where terendelev was dragged off

Quest tracker is stuck on searching where Teremdeleve died, Ive completed every quest. This has to be a gamebreaking bug. Only thing left is to get into Gray Garrison, but Irabeth doesnt offer anything to do so. Really bummed I put like 12 hours in and am going to have to make a new save.

Huh she should always have an option to continue. Run back thru her conversation again and see if anything changes. Also you may have to go thru the defenders heart attack

Okay I figured it put gonna post my fix in case anybody else is as dumb as me. So if you do the aeon thingy slightly north of where Terendeleve died you before you rescue the storyteller it will bug out but it’s easily fixable. I spent a couple hours digging through everything in game when I didn’t notice because the broken gazebo the story event is at is a bit away from her body that you can do the event again, but you’ll have to walk right up to it unlike the first time it gets perception highlighted. Click the hand on the gazebo and go through the options again and you’ll receive quest item this time without any banter since you’ve already done the event once. Go back to Defenders Heart, talk with Storyteller, than talk with Irabeth and you’re ready to storm Gray Garrison.

Game breaking bug/awful design.

I ran into the same issue, there is a pile of rubble a little to the south of the dragon blood trail (just follow the edge of the ravine) where there is a interactive hand icon. Took me a while to stumble across it since I didn't get whatever cutscene was supposed to play out.
