Bug [Reported] - Attacks of Opportunity not working correctly
Anyone else have characters getting random attacks of opportunity? It seems like there may be a delay or something happening; currently what I am seeing is my melee being next to ranged (mages, bowmen) but I am not seeing their AoO go off when the enemies attack, rather it seems they go off on my turn (doesn't seem to matter which characters turn, so long as it's my turn). I don't *think* this is wasting my turns but there is definitely something off here.

Is anyone else seeing this or is it just on my end? [Confirmed to be a bug]

Edit 1: I have reported this as a bug and hopefully the screenshot was attached. I think I know how to replicate it now. I had it happen after charging in two characters against two ranged enemies. On my next turn (before those enemies had even had a turn) I moused over them and they were hit with AoO's. I put this in my bug report.

Piggy backing off of this post: Are Combat Manuevers bugged as well? My animal companion did a Sunder Armor attack, landed the Sunder Armor but missed the normal attack afterwards. Enemy had the Sunder Armor debuff on him, next character in line hits him but the combat log still showed his normal AC. Maybe I'm misunderstanding how this is supposed to work due to the wording, but his AC should have been reduced, yes?

Yes, have started seeing this and it seems to trigger when I mouse over the enemy or on my characters turn. I don't think it's a delayed AOO as I've seen it occur to enemies prior to their initial attack.

Thanks for confirming. I was starting to think I was going crazy or something.

Confirm, too overpowered with combat reflexes))

What i noticed it is always against someone using a ranged weapon and when I end the characters attack even after using all actions. This of course is only in turn based for me.

Not always, sometimes I just come near ranged npcs, without using standard action.

+1 on that bug.
The first time I thought I missed something, but just now I noticed the same thing again.
My paladin charged at a melee enemy and ended up right between him and a ranged enemy (who already had his turn).
When it was my witch's turn, I wanted to charge the ranged enemy, but instead my Paladin just randomly whacked that one into a fine paste as soon as I hovered my mouse over him.

Even weirder, my Paladin just charged at a ranged enemy and performed an attack of opportunity before doing her normal attack at the end of the charge...

Just reported the bug. I hope screenshots are automatically attached.

Had it happen immediately after two of my characters charged in to attack two ranged characters. The enemy hadn't even acted yet but when I moused over them they were hit with Attacks of Opportunity by my characters. Definitely a bug here.

I saw something similar but happened when each of my guys shrank at the end of Enlarge Person spells. Hasn't happened since that I can tell.

For me it routinely happens when I move a character in melee range of someone I put to sleep. Please stop, Seelah? I want you to execute this dude, not whack him...

Haha! AoO go brrrr!

I've had it happen to me several times now, mostly involving rangers and casters, and reported it as well.

Same thing after charging on ranged chars and then also going off on my chars next turn - reprorted this as a bug or not working as it was in PFKM anyhow

Apparantly, you can replicate this by delaying your characters turn.
1. When you see you character do a random AoO at the start of his turn.
- Usually requires him to stand next to a caster or ranged enemy.
2. Delay that characters turn after he's done the random AoO.
3. That same character will make another random AoO when his turn pop up again.
4. Delay turn again, and the cycle repeats.

You can repeat the AoO this way, endlessly. By having 2 characters just alternating delay turns to after one another, you get an endless amount of attacks towards an enemy. Pretty balanced bug.

I can't confirm that delaying causes this - I just had this happen without delaying a turn.

However, I'm fairly certain this bug is somehow caused by the inspect feature.

On a whim, I just turned inspect off for a fight - and got not a single random AoO
I reloaded the same fight, got the same result.
I reloaded again, went into melee with a wizard - nothing. Then I turned on inspect, hovered over the wizard and my Char immediatley "inspected" the wizards innards very thoroughly. And he's not even a Vivisectionist! :D

That's a distinct possibility. I get them a lot and I rarely turn off Inspect.

Thank you for the input!

Update: Hovering over the turn order bar at the top - even with inspect turned off - can trigger AoOs as well.

I guess you always inspect enemies if you look at them via the bar
