Hi,
I just made a collection of 430+ high quality portraits from various artist at deviantart that I follow, for my playtrough. This is now also on the Nexus called "Heroes of Stolen Lands".

Installation

Extract the zip file into the following path:
In Windows use the Hotkey: "Win+R" copy and paste:

%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous\Portraits

You can also manually collect the portraits you want to install, just drag&drop them into your portrait folder.

How to use

At the ingame portraits selection screen there is a "custom" tab, there are all the custom portraits listed, which you placed into the "Portraits" folder in windows.

Enjoy! I will update this soon to 2.2 if you got some requests drop it here.

Adding portraits is simple, here is a guide:

I got permission from some artist to use the artwork for this "mod" but not from all. If you want an portrait to be removed because of the copyright, just tell me and I will do so.

I copied it there, extracted, a separated founder appeared, and when I get in game, it creates a file named 0001 and I have to choose one of portraits and copy paste it there.
Any chance I can see them all at one instead of clicking on 1000+ folders ?

Move up a directory and just copy or extraxt all the content in this folder.
So you have %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous\Portraits and in there is the example 0001 folder and all the other numbered folders you just extraxted there. Tab back to the game an hit refresh. Enjoy your new gallery.

This is awesome.

I'm seeing a peculiar bug on Mac where the little thumbnails in the "Custom Portrait" screen don't load until you click them and load the main portrait. Once you do that the thumbnail appears as usual on that page, but only until you restart the game.

But anyways, this is a great set of portraits, and they fit in well with the original art style, thanks!

Oh damn, nice 2.1 with all those Kitsune, might actually try one now. Would be nice, if you could add some more of the smaller races; dwarves, gnomes, and halflings at some point. I know the pain of trying to find similar styled character portraits of those...

That is unfortunate, I did not have this issue in windows, but i'll post this bug to the developer, thanks for reporting.

This portrait system is archaic and needs to end. Your character's portrait should match what you've created. I'm thankful for this upload and applaud it, but if developers refuse to update how this system works, at least add more than 15 options.

Thanks for putting this together. It's really disappointing how few new portraits are in the game proper... I'd really hoped they'd've learned from Kingmaker and made more of an effort here.
