How is Prestigious Spellcaster not in the game AGAIN?

Fml, this is a baseline feat that any Dragon Disciple and Eldritch Knight NEED. Yes, I know, you in particular have finished every Pathfinder Campaign at Lv1 with ease, so there totally isn't any need for anything mechanical, but why the everliving f*ck is this absolutely vital feat left - once again - to be modded in afterwards???

Because developers, as usual, don't know how to play their own game.

I do have to say this feat is weirdly worded in PnP: RAW it would give +1 level of spells known/per day (but not an increase in caster level) to a prestige class missing a level of spellcasting, and taking it again would give +1 CL (but not spells known/spells per day). Which might also be a case of developers not knowing how their own game works...
