While there were issues at the start, I have completed the main game 5 times and done almost every achievement now.
However I don't think it is necessary to play it first. These are 2 different games with different themes, but based on the same ruleset. You can play both, or just the one that fits your personal choices better.
But you can start with either . Although it could be harder to enjoy Kingmaker after Wrath since it will have less classes etc
Definitely one of the best cRPGs of recent years.
Not for any continuity reasons, but because there will be features, improvements and changes between the two titles, that, if you play Wrath before King, you may find King difficult to go back to and enjoy in the same way you might, playing it first.
I just got a bit bored about repeating the same story again and again (especially some parts of it)...but if for you that's new.....
I really enjoy some of the mods as well they're weirdly good. Most often they add solid features from the PnP rules.
I second this thought. The mods are really great for Kingmaker. If you play that I highly suggest you browse through them and find some fun looking ones.
