Will some spells still require component materials?
That was one of the most annoying things in Kingmaker for me.

Most likely the same that did in Kingmaker: the ruleset is the same, so I would not expect big changes

I suspected as much. Well, I guess I'll just have to mod them out again.

Yeah it looks like the same spells have the same components as Kingmaker.

It is a safe assumption you will need some component's just like in Kingmaker . As from what i seen they used the same model still from Kingmaker .

I know diamond skin requires diamond dust
Legendary proportions requires a dinosaur bone
Resurrection requires a diamond (not all resurrections)

Could just mod it out

Nah, mod in more requirements! Every single spell, including cantrip like spells need components to cast correct! :DMCJester1::goldstack:

Restoration (full one, not Lesser Restoration) needs Diamond Dust too.

Actually if you want to double-check spell components, just look up the tabletop game's version of the spell (they're all up for free on the Archives of Nethys, just make sure you're in the Pathfinder 1e section of the site). If there's a listed GP price for the material component then odds are you'll have to buy it in this. I mean if there is a difference it would be the component being no longer needed in the video game, so you'd be pleasantly surprised.

The real question is, will this game shower you with components and money like Kingmaker did?

Daeran's house has you covered for Diamond Dust at least.

Yes, there still are such spell requirements, just like in the Tabletop rules.
The truly powerful spells still need Diamonds or stuff like that.

There's already mods for that for the beta though, so it won't really be an issue.
