So you could still dip to get your mount faster and get some extras from the cavalier level.
Thanks for letting me know! I would honestly prefer to just stick to one class in all honesty, so waiting until lvl 5 would be okay before getting a mount, but do you think the extras from a Cavalier level is overall better than having divine weapon bond?
Played the beta some 400 hours. I'd say no it isn't worth a dip into cavalier. But you could also try it before hand with Seela ( companion you get at the start ).
Will your mount be 4 levels behind, if you don't?
But it's more similar to -4 casting levels than -4 levels if that make sense...
That gives them animal companion and some basic magic.
I just started and i am still in the first cave, just leveled up to lvl 2.
So now my party has 4 raptors joining the hunt. :)
Additionally what about Mobility? Is Mobility a Paladin class skill?
Mobility is NOT a paladin skill, there is a background that gives it to you though. I am/was wondering the same thing about the Boon Companion perk, and I've had very confident people give me opposite information...
She will get the full +4
You are correct... sorry about that
''This mount functions as a druid’s animal companion, using the paladin’s level as her effective druid level.''
