if you like only want to stay within this two classes
you could go 4 fighter 16 paladin for weapon specialization and take boon companion to still have a full horse progression
or 5 fighter for weapon training
or just 11 paladin for mark of justice and 9 fighter greater weapon stuff
Id probably spend at least 1 of those on Demonslayer Ranger.
The most important thing you want from fighter is weapon specialization so you can qualify for mythic weapon specialization - idk what level weapon spec is off the top of my head but 8 levels should be enough.
Go mutation warrior for elixir.
You can probably do even better by cutting as many fighter levels as you can and putting them somewhere else after getting weapon spec.
