the one i remember where mobility and i think stealth or magic device, but you also have the option to chose something else that uses your party skill check instead
Really the only skills they can't cover you is Stealth (when you're sneaking around), Persuasion when used in combat (i.e. Intimidation), Use Magic Device (when you need to use something yourself in combat.) Mobility in combat, etc.
Well to be fair here my mc was stealth on steroids. It was entirely built on stealth. I think the checks are too high on core and above for Camellia to pass late in the game.
Ah, ok so team perception works then, but you do rely on your character's trickery since you are the only one who is able to access the chests when alone.
Also, I don't think world stealth checks are based off the main character. I played a mage with zero stealth points and was able to avoid quite a lot of world encounters. Pretty sure party members help with that.
For the purposes of getting extra XP (only skill user gets XP), I've been finding: Athletics, Mobility, Trickery, Lore: Religion and Knowledge: World seem to come up a lot. There haven't been as many persuasion checks as there were in Kingmaker.
